Sergey Parshivlyuk told about how he was given the decision to end his career as a player and move to the coaching staff of Dynamo, about his tasks and upcoming training.
— Should I call you Sergey Viktorovich now?
— It turns out that so. Although most of my teammates, staff and members of the coaching staff have been calling me that for the last year, so I've already gotten used to it. In this regard, there will be no need to rebuild.
— How was this decision made?
— Now there are mixed feelings, because everything happened so quickly and unexpectedly. I consulted with my family and children – we sat down together, talked and decided that we need to move on to a new stage of life related to football. Plus, the club offered me to join Marcel's headquarters right away, and this is a great start to my new path.
— Have you been talking about this topic for a long time?
— Not for long. We talked with Marcel and Zeljko Buvac, heard what they want from me, how I can help and what responsibilities will be. Then I talked with my family, with my parents, and after that I made an informed decision.

— What will you be responsible for in the coaching staff?
— After communicating with Marcel, I realized that responsibilities within the headquarters are delegated on a daily basis. At the planning meetings I will receive assignments and delve into them. This is all new to me, so I've already written to the group so that I won't be judged strictly. Because I have one idea on the part of a football player, and the fact that on the other hand, it's still a dark forest for me. I am full of enthusiasm and strength to help our team make the main step.
— Have you already started training as a coach?
— Unfortunately, in Russia now it is impossible to be an active football player and study to be a coach. I struggled for a year to start my studies, but they refused me everywhere. So I am submitting documents this week to the group for licenses A and B in order to immediately obtain license A. I plan to do this in 14 months.
— Which of the young players should be most afraid of coach Parshivlyuk?
— There's no need to be afraid of anyone, because I'm not a coach yet, since I don't have a license, but only a member of the coaching staff. There is no need to be afraid of the coach, you need to respect and trust him. So for me, the main task is to gain the trust of the players with my decisions and advice. At first I will concentrate on this and will absorb information from more experienced members of the coaching staff, and then somehow try to help with something of my own.
