The defender of the blue and whites spoke about the adaptation in Dynamo, the matches of the national team of Paraguay and the mood for pre-season training camps.
– You joined Dynamo in February and spent the second part of the 2024/25 season. How did this game segment work out for you?
– I feel good and got used to the team pretty quickly. Other Latin Americans helped me a lot to adapt, so everything is going great for me.
– Did you manage to rest after last season, as you joined your national team almost immediately?
– I really didn't have time to rest. I played for the national team and just returned from its location.
– You played two matches in the national team – with Uruguay and Brazil. How did these games work out for you?
– Of course, these were difficult matches, especially with Brazil. It was enough for us to draw to get a direct ticket to the World Cup, but, unfortunately, it didn't work out.
– The head coach has changed at Dynamo. What are your first impressions of working with Valery Karpin?
– This is a strict coach who demands a lot from the players. It is necessary to do everything that he asks – so far I have understood (smiles).
– You have already conducted a training session under the guidance of Valery Karpin. What has changed in the training process for you personally?
– It's too early to talk about any differences. In a couple of weeks I will be able to answer this question more precisely.
– What is the mood for training camps and for the new season?
– I have a positive attitude. I am full of energy and desire to do a good job in pre-season training, because we want to perform as well as possible and compete for trophies.
