A player who is considered a legend of two Soviet clubs at once: Dynamo Moscow and Pakhtakor Tashkent. An attacking midfielder who had an unrivaled sense of goal and a shot with both feet. Powerful, athletically built, with high speed over long distances.
He skillfully interacted with his teammates and was distinguished by an instant assessment of game situations, in which he always made the right decisions. Many remember him for his unstoppable accurate shots from medium and long distances. He acted perfectly with his body and played brilliantly with his head.
After a long period of playing for Dynamo, he moved to Pakhtakor, where he became a local idol. During this period, he became the top scorer of the season, entered the symbolic club of Grigory Fedotov. He is considered the second record holder for the number of goals at the age of 30+. In 1987 he graduated from the Higher School of Coaches and continued to work in children's and youth football for Dynamo Moscow. He is an active participant in the Dynamo veterans team.
