Chairman of the Board of Directors of FC Dynamo Alexander Ivlev commented on the changes in the coaching staff of the team.
Whenever Sandro Schwartz is mentioned, all Dynamo players immediately think of a vibrant, distinctive, emotional, and close-knit team that won medals for the first time in a long time and only missed out on their greatest success due to non-footballing circumstances. Over the years, Sandro and Dynamo have never lost touch, supporting and rooting for each other.
However, it's important for our fans to understand: Sandro's appointment isn't a reminiscence of the glorious past, nor an attempt, as some have written, to "bring back our 2021," but a desire, now and in the near future, to build a team capable of delivering consistent results, delighting fans with exciting and intense play, and being a united and goal-oriented team. Schwartz is an experienced, competent, and emotionally engaged professional, well-adapted to the Russian Premier League, and highly motivated by his work at Dynamo. These qualities allow him to confidently achieve the club's goals. We wish Sandro every success!
On behalf of the club, I'd like to extend special thanks to Rolan Gusev. During a difficult time for Dynamo, Rolan Aleksandrovich truly proved himself a leader, capable of leading the team and managing to improve both the team's play and the overall atmosphere in a short period of time. I'm confident that Rolan Aleksandrovich has a bright future as a coach. In him, the RPL has acquired a promising, yet still young, coach who has already proven himself to be an excellent coach.
