The Dynamo Academy's Far Eastern Cup has started in Vladivostok

From October 15 to 17, the Dynamo Academy Far East Cup — an international youth tournament for boys born in 2012 — is taking place at Dynamo Stadium in Vladivostok.

Competing for the trophy will be teams from the Dynamo Academies in Vladivostok and Barnaul, as well as Dynamo-Vladivostok, SKA-Khabarovsk, the Iskra Academy from Khabarovsk, Rekord from Ussuriysk, Okean from Nakhodka, and Shenfu Yucai from Shenyang, China.

An international lineup has become a tradition for this cup; it is not the first time that opponents from the PRC have traveled to Vladivostok. Last year, the trophy remained in Primorye, won by Okean (Nakhodka) after they defeated the team from Shenyang in the final.

The Far East Cup upholds the traditions of the Dynamo football school and fosters continuity between generations by promoting youth football. For young players, it serves as an opportunity to test their skills against opponents from other regions and countries, gain new experience, and become part of a broader sporting event.

The international composition of the participants strengthens athletic ties between Russia and China. The tournament will serve as a platform for young footballers to interact and for coaches from both countries to exchange expertise.

"Due to the remoteness of the region, young footballers in the Far East do not always have the chance to participate in major youth tournaments. We conceived the Dynamo Far East Cup as a way to broaden horizons by bringing compelling opponents directly to Vladivostok. This year, a team from China is returning. For our players, this is an opportunity to encounter a foreign school of football, observe different approaches to the game, and gain valuable international competitive experience. It is precisely these types of tournaments that help young players develop, expand their footballing perspective, and take a step forward," noted Alexander Yuryevich Kuznetsov, Director of the Lev Yashin Dynamo Academy.

The tournament is organized by the Autonomous Non-Profit Organization for Additional Education "Dynamo Football Academy." The Cup is held with the support of VTB Bank (PJSC).

The tournament is organized with the support of the Russian Sports Foundation, established in 2025 on the instruction of the President of Russia to promote physical culture and sports.
