On Monday, the Russian U-21 team in Skopje beat peers from North Macedonia with a score of 3:2.
Viktor Okishor, a midfielder for the "White-and-Blues," started the match and opened the scoring by converting a penalty in the 36th minute. After the break, he won a penalty himself, which Ivan Bober converted to extend the Russian team's lead.
In the 75th minute, Okishor was replaced by fellow Dynamo player Dmitry Alexandrov —currently on loan at Dynamo Makhachkala — and six minutes later, Alexandrov provided the assist for Ilyas Akhmedov, who scored the match-winning goal.
The youth team will play its next match against Serbia on October 2.
