The match of the 30th round of the Russian Premier League, held in Kaliningrad, ended with the victory of our team with a score of 2:1.
A large group of suspended and injured players didn't fly to Kaliningrad, so the winning lineup saw four changes: Leon Seidenzal started at right back, David Ricardo joined Nicolas Marichal in the center, Daniil Fomin joined Timofey Marinkin in the defensive midfield, and Viktor Okishor took the place of the injured Bitello.
The Dynamo players started the match very actively and quickly created several dangerous chances. First, Konstantin Tyukavin passed the ball to Okishor, who warmed up the home team's goalkeeper from long range. Then, Kostya himself took advantage of a mistake by a defender and, finding himself one-on-one with Yegor Lyubakov, tried to chip him over the top, but failed.
In the very next attack, Tyukavin made a brilliant play with Fomin, who passed to Arthur, who burst into the penalty area, cut the ball to his right foot, and fired an unstoppable shot into the near corner! After conceding, the Baltika team went forward in force, but they were overly direct. Only once did Andrei Lunev have to make a real save, deflecting a point-blank shot from Ayman Mourid.
In the attack, the blue-and-whites demonstrated excellent teamwork between Ngamalyo and Tyukavin. First, Kostya elegantly sent the Cameroonian through on the flank, but the pass for the shot was off-target. Soon, however, he sent a subtle pass through to Tyukavin, who was momentarily outpaced by Lyubakov.
The teams traded dangerous chances towards the end. First, Derik Lacerda finished off a cross from the right flank, but Lunev played confidently, stopping the ball in the near corner. Then Okishor ran alone from his half of the field towards the Baltika goal, but, unfortunately, he did not have enough strength to make an accurate shot.
The second half began with the hosts dominating, and they quickly equalized. Lacerda's hip-swapped Eldar Civic's cross from the left flank left Lunev no chance. Dynamo's coaching staff responded with two substitutions, freshening up the attack with Yaroslav Gladyshev and Ulvi Babayev.
It was Gladyshev who earned a corner in the 70th minute, after which Tyukavin beat Mingiyan Beveyev to the ball and smashed it under the crossbar – 2-1! Dynamo defended very well in the remaining time, while the hosts resorted to long passes forward and created no problems for Lunev.
We especially note the significant double substitution in the 85th minute – Rubens, who had been out for a month, and Dmitry Alexandrov, who underwent anterior cruciate ligament surgery in October of last year, came on.
At the end of the 2025/26 season, Dynamo scored 45 points and took seventh place.
