On Friday, the main Russian team beat the Burkina Faso in a friendly match in Volgograd (3:0), and the U-21 team prevailed in Turkey over the Iraqi Olympic team (5:1).
Anton Miranchuk started the match and played 60 minutes. In the 20th minute, he provided a sublime assist for his brother, Alexey, to make it 2-0. Ivan Sergeyev remained on the bench.
Viktor Okishor entered the field in the 70th minute with the score 2-0 and played a role in three of the youth team's goals. First, he passed the ball to Timofey Komissarov, who then provided the assist for Vitaly Bondarev. Then, Viktor crossed from the right flank to Komissarov, who scored the team's fourth goal. Finally, he hit the post, after which Stepan Glotov sealed the match.
The two Russian national teams will play their next matches on June 9: the senior team will host Trinidad and Tobago in Kaliningrad, while the U-21 team will face Iraq again.
