Pavel Pivovarov, CEO of Dynamo Moscow, answered questions from journalists and fans during a press conference dedicated to the appointment of Sandro Schwarz as the club's head coach.
– How can you comment on your new agreement with Dynamo?
– Thanks to the Dynamo club for their support. I love my job, and Dynamo has been my home for the last 5.5 years, and I plan to continue working here. This decision is also due to the fact that we have not achieved something. The work has not been completed, we need to finish it and continue moving towards victories, successes not only in terms of commercial activities, but also the sports component.
– What is your comment on the appointment of Sandro Schwarz as the head coach of Dynamo?
– Our job is primarily to support the head coach, and we will do everything for this. We have known Sandro for 5.5 years. We have excellent relations, both personal and working, so there are no obstacles here. Dynamo has a great infrastructure and a strong team. We need to take several joint steps to achieve something. I am very glad that we will take these steps together with Sandro.
– Tell us about the construction of the Dynamo Academy.
– We have started the construction project of the Academy, localization is South Tushino. The approximate date when the facility will be built is 2029, the centenary of Lev Ivanovich Yashin. The academy is designed for 300 pupils, there will also be a small stadium, training fields. At the same time, understanding the needs of the residents of the district, considerable attention will be paid to landscaping, modern recreational areas have been created. Our football players are already holding certain social events for the population. There are no commercial facilities planned there, it is exclusively a sports, developmental and recreational facility that we are implementing. From all sides, this is a positive project.
– What are the goals of the team? Do they stay the same?
– Our goals have not changed for some time. We believe that the club is ready for the next step. There are all the conditions for this. We are very glad that Sandro has joined us, we know him as a qualified specialist, a coach with his own style of football, which we are very impressed with. And the coach with whom we were one step away from both the championship and the victory in the Cup of Russia. Therefore, we hope that now, after this time and taking into account the accumulated joint experience, we will be able to take the next step forward.
