The bright derby with Spartak not only closed the year 2025 for our team, but also became its 1000th match in the top division of the Russian championship. Below we will tell you about all the Dynamo anniversary games during this time.
1st match
March 29, 1992. Stavropol. Dynamo (Stavropol) – Dynamo (Moscow) – 0:3

For the first match of the first championship of Russia Dynamo went to Stavropol to the local team of the same name. The heroes of the meeting were Andrei Kobelev and Yuri Kalitvintsev, who in the future will leave a noticeable mark in the history of the club already as coaches.
The very first match ended with a major victory for the blue and white, who have already gained 79 over all these years. But with the teams in the name of which Dynamo met (from Stavropol, Tyumen and Makhachkala), at the moment we have played 16 games: 11 of them ended in victories, three ended in draws, and only two defeats were recorded.
The 100th match
June 10, 1995. Naberezhnye Chelny. KamAZ-Chally (Naberezhnye Chelny) – Dynamo – 5:2

Coach: Konstantin Beskov
But the first hundred ended in failure, even though there were objective reasons for that. All thoughts were then occupied with the upcoming final of the Cup of Russia, in which in four days Konstantin Beskov's bloodless team would win the first trophy in modern history.
Of the 14 people who took the field in Naberezhnye Chelny, only eight were able to take part in the finals. Andrey Smetanin missed 4 goals by halftime and was replaced, but at Luzhniki he left his goal intact and took the decisive blow in the post-match penalty shootout.
By the way, this defeat is the only one in our selection today.
The 200th match

After a discouraging 11-match series without a win at the start of the season, the team was led by Georgy Yartsev and immediately won a major victory. The score was opened by the first Dynamo legionnaire from abroad, Nigerian Lucky Izibor, the winning goal was on the account of another future coach of the blue and white Alexander Kulchiya, and the only double in the Dynamo career of Sergei Grishin completed the defeat of Sochi.
The 300th match
August 18, 2001. Dynamo Stadium. Dynamo – Chernomorets (Novorossiysk) – 2:1
Goals: Gusev, 1:0 (36), Khazov, 2:0 (52), Bezhenar, 2:1 (85)

Coach: Alexander Novikov
This date will forever remain black in the history of Russian football. That Saturday, everyone's attention was focused on Makhachkala, where the fatal collision between Sergei Perkhun and Budun Budunov took place, which eventually cost the CSKA goalkeeper his life.
In Moscow, Dynamo beat Chernomorets. Rolan Gusev, who came out with the captain's armband, realized a football shootout in the first half, and after the break he performed a signature canopy from the corner on Anton Khazov, who put the ball in the far corner. The current coach of the blue and white could have scored more, but Dmitry Bulykin volunteered to beat the penalty, who failed to beat Roman Gerus. Nevertheless, Dynamo were able to interrupt the 7-match winless streak and rise to 10th place in the table.
Let's also note the unique situation for Dynamo that season: Alexander Novikov released his son Kirill on the field, who made his debut at the base back in the previous season. Later, the family duo will reunite in the 2019/20 season, when Alexander Vasilyevich will already join his son's coaching staff.
400th match
March 20, 2005. Dynamo Stadium. Dynamo – Torpedo (Moscow) – 2:1
Goals: Opera, 0:1 (23), Danny, 1:1 (44), Beschastnykh, 2:1 (69)
Dynamo squad: Levitsky, Ribeiro, Kovalenko, Tanasievich, Fresh, Kuznetsov (Bulykin, 46), Romashchenko, Yashin, Danny, Loureiro, Beschastnykh (Polovinchuk, 75)
Coach: Oleg Romantsev
After Dynamo barely escaped at the end of 2004, Alexei Fedorychev seriously spent the winter on the first group of Portuguese-speaking football players. But at the start of the season, the blue and white burned down in St. Petersburg and flew out of the Cup from the Wings of the Soviets.
Hungry for positive emotions, Dynamo fans hung out a banner in Portuguese with the words "Prove that you can play!". And one of the newcomers definitely read it – it was Danny. First, at the end of the first half, he shot the goal after the transfer of Vladimir Beschastnykh, and after the break he returned the "debt" to the forward, rolling out the ball to him after a fantastic pass from his half of the field. These were the first effective actions of the talented Portuguese in Dynamo form.
The 500th match
July 6, 2008. "Luzhniki". CSKA Moscow – Dynamo - 0:2
Goals: Semshov, 0:1 (12), Kolodin, 0:2 (61)
Dynamo squad: Karchemarskas, Kovalchik, Kolodin, Fernandez, Tanasievich, D. Kombarov, Khokhlov, K.Kombarov, Semshov, Danny, Kerzhakov (Genkov, 89)
Coach: Andrey Kobelev
It is noteworthy that this meeting was the first at the Premier League level, which was held in Luzhniki after the Champions League final between Manchester United and Chelsea. However, it was impossible to say that the players entered the same field where Cristiano Ronaldo scored and John Terry slipped recently – the natural lawn specially laid for the final was removed in favor of the usual artificial one.
It was also the first round after the memorable European Championship for the Russian national team, where she won bronze medals. CSKA has four recent triumphants, Dynamo has only two, but it was they who decided the outcome of the match. At the beginning of the match, Danny sent Igor Semshov to a rendezvous with Igor Akinfeev, who opened the account. In the second half, the same Semshov earned a penalty, which was realized by Denis Kolodin.
With the help of these two goals Dynamo disenchanted "Luzhniki", where they could not win after 90 minutes for 24 years! Also, this success brought Kobelev's team to third place, after which it did not fall out of the top three until the very end of the championship.
The 600th match
August 28, 2011. Khimki Arena. Dynamo – Spartak (Nalchik) – 2:0
Goals: Kuranyi, 1:0 (17), Semshov, 2:0 (35)
Dynamo squad: Shunin, Shitov, Epureanu, Fernandez, Wilkshire, Yusupov (Sapeta, 52), Samedov, Semshov, Kokorin (Karyaka, 79), Voronin (Ilyin, 84), Kuranyi
Coach: Sergey Silkin
The "honeymoon" of Sergey Silkin's team was in full swing. Dynamo showed the brightest football in the league and easily beat Nalchans at home, making the result already in the first half. First, Kevin Kuranyi shot the goal after a soft overhang by Alexander Samedov, after which a magnificent shot from 20 meters into the left nine was a success for Semshov!
This victory was followed by defeats of CSKA (4:0) and Amkar (3:0), after which the team got bogged down in the Samara swamp and gradually lost its gloss, never even winning bronze medals.
The 700th match
March 8, 2015. Khimki Arena. Dynamo – Ufa (Ufa) – 3:1
Goals: Ionov, 1:0 (10), Valbuena, 2:0 (20), Marsinho, 2:1 (30), Kuranyi, 3:1 (71)
Dynamo squad: Gabulov, Gubochan, Kozlov, Samba, Zhirkov, Denisov, Ionov (Yusupov, 39), Dzhudzhak, Vanker (Zobnin, 81), Valbuena, Kokorin (Kuranyi, 63)
Coach: Stanislav Cherchesov
The last year at the moment, which started with European Cup matches. After winning a two-round confrontation with Anderlecht, Dynamo hosted Ufa. Despite the three goals scored, Vladimir Gabulov became the hero of the meeting, who made four cool saves only in the first half.
Stanislav Cherchesov surprised Alexey Ionov with a substitution in the 39th minute, who had already recorded a goal + pass at that time. "We began to sag in the center of the field. Ionov did not refine, so there was a replacement. I understand that it is unpleasant for him. But nothing personal. This is work," Cherchesov explained this extravagant step after the match.
The winning goal was scored by the French magician Mathieu Valbuena, who, after a grandmaster's pause, rolled the ball between the goalkeeper's legs. By the way, the 41-year-old midfielder is still in the ranks and is the captain of the second team of the Greek Olympiacos. In the second half, it took 8 minutes for the substitute Kuranyi to set the final score with a beautiful shot into the top corner.
The 800th match
May 10, 2019. Khimki Arena. Dynamo – Rostov (Rostov-on-Don) – 0:0
Dynamo squad: Shunin, Shunich, Morozov, Kozlov, Evgeniev, Tetteh, Joaozinho (Grulev, 60), Cardoso, Yusupov, Panchenko (Markov, 68), Lutsenko
Coach: Dmitry Khokhlov
Before the match, Nikolai Gontar, who celebrated his 70th birthday, was honored at the stadium, and on such a day the goalkeepers simply could not let them down. Anton Shunin and Sergey Pesyakov confidently held this meeting, not letting the opponents soak the score.
This match stands apart for the reason that it marked the end of Dynamo fans' trips to Khimki, which sheltered our team during the protracted reconstruction of the arena in Petrovsky Park. 16 days later, she opened with a flourish with a game with Tula Arsenal and since then it has only become more beautiful.
The 900th match
September 3, 2022. VTB Arena. Dynamo – Ural (Yekaterinburg) – 2:1
Goals: Tyukavin, 1:0 (38), Bikfalvi, 1:1 (44), Makarov, 2:1 (59)
Dynamo squad: Shunin, Parshivlyuk, Sazonov, Marichal, Skopintsev, Gagnidze (Kutitskiy, 89), Fomin, Zakharyan, Makarov (Lesovoy, 89), Tyukavin (Smolov, 79), Grulev ( Gladyshev, 63)
Coach: Slavisa Jokanovic
This match ended the powerful start of Slavisa Jokanovic at the head of Dynamo, which included 4 wins and 4 draws. By the way, only Beskov's teams in 1994 and 1995 passed this segment better (the first 8 rounds of the season).
Nicolas Marichal made his Dynamo debut in this game, Konstantin Tyukavin scored in the third round in a row, and Denis Makarov scored perhaps his most beautiful goal in his Dynamo career with a luxurious shot from the corner of the penalty area.
In just 34 years, the blue and whites have won 415 victories, made 283 draws, suffered 302 defeats, scored 1,424 goals and conceded 1,172. Let's hope that the second thousand will be even more successful and filled with such beautiful goals.
