On Thursday, the famous midfielder of Dynamo Moscow Igor Dobrovolsky turns 59 years old.
Igor Ivanovich is a graduate of Moldovan football. In 1986, the Dynamo Moscow won the fight for the talented midfielder, and the 18-year-old Dobrovolsky immediately joined the team, stopping a step away from gold medals in the first season. Two years later, he became the top scorer of the final tournament of the Olympic Games as part of the USSR national team and helped it beat the Brazilians in the decisive match, scoring his sixth goal at the tournament.
Having won the bronze medals of the USSR championship and becoming its best player in 1990, he went abroad, where he competed in the championships of Spain, Switzerland, Italy and Germany, and even won the Champions League with Olympique de Marseille.
In total, Dobrovolsky played 174 matches and scored 40 goals for Dynamo, for which he also managed to play in the mid-90s, was the captain of the team and the favorite of all Dynamo fans.
