Sandro Schwarz: "We need to take all the good things from match and move forward"

– Congratulations to Krasnodar on the victory. In the first half we played very well – very intensively, aggressively, created a lot of chances, but we missed the ball when Krasnodar entered our penalty area for the second time. It was not easy for us at the beginning of the second half, Krasnodar had several approaches, but then we seized the initiative. We tried everything, created chances, dominated, but we couldn't score. We are very disappointed with the result, but we want to see this kind of game. It is worth noting the wonderful atmosphere at the stadium. Now we have to fully focus on Sunday's match with Rodina.

– Will it be possible to keep the same good game for the match with Rodina?

– We will strive for this. We have to think every day about how we want to play – in every training session, on every theory. We lost to Zenit, but when I reviewed the game, I can say that we played very well for most of the match. The same can be said about today's match. Yes, we are disappointed because we are playing for the result. But now we have to accept defeat, even though it is very difficult to do. We have to take all the good things from today's match and keep moving forward.

– Were all of today's replacements planned in advance? Why did they change Milan Majstorovic during the break?

– We decided not to risk the health of Milan, who had some discomfort in the back of his thigh. The replacement of Luis Chavez was planned. It was great to see him in the starting lineup, and I think he played a very good match. Now he will gradually roll into the rhythm of the game. I can talk for a long time about those who came out both at the start and as a substitute. For example, Vanya Sergeev worked very hard for the team, pressed, fought, collected rebounds.

– Do you agree that Dynamo played the best match in the last month?

– Yes, I was pleased to see how the team played and that progress was visible, but it's unpleasant to see a defeat. We have to analyze this match and keep going forward: develop our style of play, dominate all the matches, press, create a lot of chances, and not talk about missed opportunities. Today we completely changed the starting lineup compared to the match in St. Petersburg, and I am very pleased with the attitude of the guys. Now we have to distribute the loads and find the perfect squad for Sunday.

– Why was Nicolas Marichal not included in the application?

– Nico is injured and I'm not sure if he will play on Sunday.

– You promote active pressure. Who is the brains behind your style of play?

– The first rule is a short distance to the player with the ball. If you play in the offensive line, you have to be close to the opponent and be ready to press. Also, when we go into pressure, we need to go into the player, and not stop in a semi-position. And if our player loses a single combat, then the partner should be nearby and help him.

– Dynamo played well the last two matches, but did not score. Your attitude is visible, will it be possible to set up the players for Sunday's match in the same way?

– We have to believe in our game and tune in like this for every game, for every training session. The main thing is to find your own style and constantly continue to develop it. Yes, we haven't been able to score yet, and this is an obvious challenge for us. But I would be more worried if we didn't have any scoring chances at all, as it was in the first half of the game with Krylia. Now we have a clear direction of how we should act, and we need to continue moving forward.
