On Monday, the former football player and coach of the Moscow Dynamo, Sergei Nikolaevich Silkin, turns 65.
Sergey Nikolaevich is a graduate of the Dynamo football school. He played over 100 matches for the main team (from 1983 to 1989), winning the silver medal in the USSR championship with them.
After retiring as a footballer, he coached young athletes at the Dynamo school and twice led the reserve team to victories in the Russian championship. In 2011-12, he was the head coach of the main team, leading them to the final of the Russian Cup. In 2016, he served as the director of reserve training for Dynamo.
