A large-scale annual tournament bringing together young football players from Russia and foreign countries for 5 years will be held in Voronezh from April 11 to 13.

16 teams born in 2014 will take part in the competition. Among the participants are pupils of the Dynamo Academy and its branches, CSKA, Krasnodar, Neftchi (Baku), Fakel, Dynamo (Makhachkala), Dynamo (Bryansk), Spartak Secondary School (Stary Oskol), SSHOR No. 1 (Belgorod) and the Dynamo school in Voronezh.

The tournament will be not only a good practice for young football players, but also an opportunity to test their strength in the fight against peers from different football academies.

This year the Dynamo Academy Voronezh Cup is timed to coincide with Cosmonautics Day – the anniversary of the first human spaceflight. It was in this city that rocket engines were produced that made this possible. Before Yuri Gagarin, the dogs Belka and Strelka flew into space on ships with Voronezh engines, and then the mannequin Ivan Ivanovich. One of the symbols of the tournament is the silhouette of the monument "Conquerors of Space", installed in the satellite city of Voronezh - Novovoronezh.

Regular holding of such tournaments is an important element of the development of the club's Academy. They unite Dynamo players from different parts of our country, contribute to creating the environment necessary for the progress of children and young men in matches with the strongest rivals, educating their sports spirit and developing physical skills. Academy tournaments also help to strengthen ties in the football community of Russia and foreign countries.
