Dynamo newcomer Jorge Carrascal told what attracted him in Dynamo's offer, shared his emotions from the club infrastructure and plans to learn Russian.
— I am very happy to be at Dynamo. Thanks to everyone who made this transfer possible. I am overwhelmed with emotions. I am looking forward to the matches at Dynamo, which is the best stadium in Moscow.
— What are your memories of the games against Dynamo? How successful were you? What do you think about the club itself?
— Dynamo are a big club with a great history. I've always liked the way the team plays. The matches against them were often intense and interesting. I am glad to defend the colors of Dynamo.
— How do you assess your spell in the Army club?
— I have nice memories from my stay at CSKA. I am grateful to everyone at this club – I mean players, staff, fans. Of course, I had a lot in common with them, and I always felt support. But now I am completely focused on my performance at Dynamo.
— How was your farewell with CSKA coach Vladimir Fedotov? Is there any resentment left against him?
— As I said, I have only the kindest memories of CSKA. I have no problems with Vladimir Fedotov. I would like to thank him for the common work.
— Have you already managed to see Dynamo's infrastructure? What do you think about the club's base, about the stadium?
— I am very impressed with the Dynamo base. I managed to see it from the inside. I really liked the training fields, dressing room, gym, rooms for recovery procedures. I've already played at the Dynamo Stadium – it's a cool arena with an amazing atmosphere.
— You spent a lot of time at CSKA, now you have signed a contract with Dynamo until 2027. How is the study of the Russian language going? When will we hear your interview in Russian?
— Of course, I try to learn Russian, but it's quite difficult, because the alphabet is very different. I understand football terms in Russian, as well as some common words. I don't have any special problems, but I will try to learn Russian further.
— After winning the Russian Cup, CSKA media service posted a video in which you shouted "Come on!" in response to the "Dynamo Moscow" words. Was there any meaning in this?
— Honestly speaking, I don't remember this episode. I always liked the way Dynamo played, I sympathized with this club. I especially like the style of play after Marcel's arrival. A great team is being created at Dynamo, and I am happy to be a part of this team.
— When you were still playing for CSKA, did you communicate with any of the Dynamo players? Did you ask any of them before the transfer?
— For me, Marcel's desire to see me in the team was important. Of course, I also talked to some Latin American football players of the White-Blues – I talked to Balbuena, Marichal. They told me only good things about Dynamo. Their opinion also influenced my choice.
— What can you tell to the football players and fans from Colombia?
— Several footballers from Colombia are playing in the Russian Premier League – Cassierra, Cordoba, Barrios. They know what Russian football is. The RPL is a very competitive league, where many teams show interesting football. Yes, there are no European cups now, but even without them there is an interesting local Cup and championship. I would like my other compatriots to come here as well.
