Danil Glebov was born on November 3, 1999 in Tomsk. Until August 2015, he trained at the Central Professional Football Club Tom (Tomsk), after which he moved to Moscow to the Academy of FC Lokomotiv. His first coach was Ildar Gennadyevich Khanafeev, with whom Glebov trained until he was 14, then he moved to Eduard Viktorovich Baryshev.
In February 2016, he moved to Dagestan, where he began training at the Academy of FC Anzhi. In the 2016/17 season, he played two matches for the reserve team, a year later he played four matches for Anzhi-2 in the PFL championship. On May 20, 2018, he made his debut for the main team of Anzhi, when Glebov came on as a substitute in the 70th minute in the return play-off match against Yenisei from Krasnoyarsk. On September 1, 2018, he played his first match in the RPL, replacing Roland Gigolaev in the 90th minute in the game against Krylia Sovetov.
In January 2019, he became a player of Rostov, for which he made his debut on February 24 in the home match of the 1/4 finals of the Russian Cup against Krasnodar, coming on as a substitute in the 43rd minute. In total, in six years in Rostov, he took part in 191 matches, scored 12 goals and gave 17 assists.
In the Russian national team since November 2021. He made his debut in the main team of the country on November 11 in a home match against the Cyprus national team (6:0), when he replaced Daniil Fomin in the second half.
In February 2025, he signed a long-term contract with FC Dynamo.
